Tom & Grace Ensz Bio

Tom and Grace Ensz serve in Manaus, Brazil. Since 1992 they have been working in leadership development and theological education. They share a vision to see The Wesleyan Church expand into new states until all of the vast country of Brazil can be reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Tom attended Oklahoma Wesleyan University where he sensed God's call to be a missionary. After two short-term mission trips, God confirmed this calling. He graduated with a missions degree and then went on to receive an M.Div at Asbury Theological Seminary.

Grace (Ury) was raised in Asia by missionary parents. After earning her bachelor's degree in speech communications, she went on to Asbury Theological Seminary to complete her M.Div. There, during the annual missions conference, she received a definite call to overseas missions.

Tom and Grace were married in 1989 and pastored in Birmingham, Alabama, prior to going to Brazil. They have three children Anna ('93), Hudson ('95), and Gwendolyn ('00).

"I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles" (Isaiah 42:6 NIV).

Jason & Carla Evans Bio

Jason graduated from Lee University in 2000 with a degree in sociology. After short-term mission trips to Jamaica and the Czech Republic from 2004-2005, he felt God calling him to career missions.

Carla felt called into missions through a missions conference her senior year of college. She graduated from Southern Wesleyan University in 2001 with degrees in music and psychology. Upon graduation Carla served for two years with Global Partners in the Czech Republic.

God has instilled within Jason and Carla a love for the Czech people and a call to return. They were married in 2006 and have since served on several short-term mission trips to Brazil and the Czech Republic. In September 2007 Jason, Carla, and Jaxon (’07) were appointed to serve as career missionaries with Global Partners to the Czech Republic. They desire to use the strengths and gifts God has blessed them with to reach out to the Czech people.

Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority as apostles to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name (Romans 1:5 NLT).

Phil & Becky Davis Bio

In March 1999 Phil and Becky Davis began their service as career missionaries in Suriname, South America. During two missionary terms in Suriname, Phil taught Bible school courses to Wesleyan pastors. Becky taught at the American Cooperative School. They both learned Dutch and built relationships with church members in Suriname.

The Davises have been reassigned to Europe and will move to Belgium in the summer of 2007. Phil?s assignment will be to pursue a doctorate as preparation for long-term ministry throughout Europe. He will also teach and encourage pastors and missionaries as needed. Leadership development is vital to the growth and continued health of the Church. Both Phil and Becky are deeply committed to leadership development and want to help train new and emerging European leaders. They believe that God is leading them to enhance their education so that they will clearly understand the ways that Europeans understand and wrestle with their faith.

Phil and Becky have four sons: Jonathan (?88), Ryan (?90), Jeremy (?94), and Matthew (?96).

"For I know the plans I have for you, " declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future" (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV).
